I attended a very interesting meeting at Castle Hall School on 2nd December when the Schools Adjudicator came to listen to the concerns of the people of Mirfield.  I have emailed Cannon Lindley giving my reasons against the school closing.  One of my concerns is that if we only have one school in Mirfield it reduces the number of children able to take part in sports teams, concerts, choirs etc.

On Tuesday 8th December I attended the Licensing Ceremony at Mirfield Parish Church of Hugh Baker who is the new Priest in Charge of Mirfield Team Parish.  I would like to wish Hugh Baker and his family a very warm welcome to Mirfield and I look forward to meeting him over the Christmas period.
