Biography

I have been a Mirfield town councillor since the June 2008 and lived in Mirfield for 11 years. For the past few years I have been involved with Agm 25, A local action group working for Mirfield & Roberttown residents. Agm 25 has been very successful in supporting local residents in their campaign to retain Mirfield's green belt.

This success led me to believe I could contribute something to Mirfield town council and I was encouraged to show interest in a councillor position in my local town and ward of Battyeford. My main hobby in the spring & summer time is horticulture and I devote most of my spare time to my extensive and well kept gardens.

My other hobby is genealogy which I have found fascinating especially with my overseas family origin connections.
